What do I need to provide? โ
Just your vehicle and access to it. We bring all tools, parts, fluids, and equipment. A flat driveway, parking lot, or any paved surface works. Tight underground garages may not accommodate our service van.
Do mobile mechanics cost more than a shop? +
Often the same or less โ because we have zero shop overhead. You skip the tow truck, the waiting room, and the markup on labor hours that shops charge. Our pricing is flat-rate and shown upfront before you confirm.
Are your mechanics licensed and insured? +
Yes. Every NeighborhoodPro mechanic is licensed, carries liability insurance, and passes a background check before joining the platform. You can view their profile before confirming your booking.
What if my car needs a repair you can't do on-site? +
Some repairs require a lift (e.g., full exhaust replacement). If we diagnose something outside our mobile scope, we'll tell you exactly what it is and what a shop should charge โ no upsell, just honest information.
What vehicles do you service? +
All passenger cars, SUVs, minivans, and pickup trucks โ including diesel and luxury/European vehicles. EV and hybrid service is available for specific tasks (cabin filter, tire rotation, diagnostics). Full EV powertrain work is not yet covered.
How fast can I get a mechanic? +
Many bookings are available same-day. During peak hours, same-day slots fill fast โ book early. Standard scheduling is typically next-day. Rush slots (under 2 hours) are available for an additional fee.
